New Life 3

Yo, what a new life again! What's up everybody? How are you doing currently? I hope everything is fine, yea.

As you may know, it had been one month since my internship. Therefore, it's time to show some results. Well, I strongly believe that I will finish my assignment by this week! Then, I think I will start to learn new thing, which everyone taking accounting course will not have a chance to learn. Luckily I have it, I really appreciate it.

Just now, my Princess called me. I knew that the person using her Facebook account this morning was her boyfriend. No wonder he didn't reply me even though I just said hi to my Princess. Anyway, forget about it, I don't feel sorry at all.

My Princess hoped me to meet her because she wanted to return money to me. It's okay to me, I doesn't need that money currently, you may return to me lately. What made me so happy was, she made it finally! She passed all her papers last semester. I'm really glad to hear that! It proved that our effort was realised! For your information, I taught her overnight after I came back to Penang. Even if it was tough, tired and cumbersome as I need to went to her hostel everyday and went back to my home at midnight or even dawn, it really worthed it! I didn't know how good are her results but at least, she passed the papers.

I believe you can do it on your own, even without my help. Thereupon, please study earlier. You can do it! We are in the same level!

One-Day Trip

This morning, I launched a one-day trip with my grandpa and youngest sister. We depart at 10 a.m. sharp. My grandpa suggested me to go to Jelutong to visit a park but we couldn't find the park and hence we proceeded to Batu Maung in order to go to the Temple of San Bao (三保太监).

Why we wanted to go there? This is because my grandpa told me that the footprint in front of the temple is a false footprint, the real footprint is located on a rock which is on the hill. Therefore, I purposely fetched my grandpa there to find the real footprint of San Bao. Nonetheless, we still couldn't find it as my grandpa said the road around there had changed, he couldn't recognise the road anymore even though he had lived there for years but that was the 1960's.

Turtle pond

Entrance

These two lions or 貔貅, which one is male and which one is female? Guess and see...

The answer is...

The bottom one is male. This is because as you can see here, this one has 'bird'--penis whereas the other one is embracing a baby. Do you guess it right? Do you notice this difference?

This is the fake footprint.

Do you see the house is collapsing?

Then, we continued to Balik Pulau through Permatang. We went to a Hindu temple which according to my grandpa, Loh Boon Siew and one of his friends went there to pray and asked for lottery number, hence they won the lottery and started to get rich.

This is it. It is located at the sharp corner of the road.

After that we moved to Teluk Bahang to visit the dams. This is the first time my grandpa went to the Teluk Bahang's dams. Then, we went home because my sister was rushing for her appointment and me too. I was rushing for aL's badminton invitation. What a tiring but enjoyable trip. Next trip will be the monster's place which I promised to take photos for my dear readers few years ago.

End of Advanced Diploma Year 1 Semester 2

Haiz, I only have the time to write this post until today even though it has been 4 weeks after my final examination. This was due to my busy life since that. I was busy visiting my friends, my grandpa, teaching Princess and getting herself ready for her final examinations, going Butterworth, Bukit Mertajam, working and so on. Therefore, I only can pick out some time to write this post today.

Semester two was tough. Even if I was so 'friend' or close with my lecturer I still couldn't get good results. Of course, I was not 'shoe-polishing' but merely want to make friend with them, as there is no restriction or barrier for me to make friend with someone. I'm more than willing to know new friends no matter what is their age. Due to this, I hated myself after the final examinations and it took me quite a couple of days to recover as I knew that I had badly disappointed them, especially Financial Management!

For your information, Mr Lee Hock Ge who was my Financial Management's lecturer and tutor helped me a lot! Foe instance, he helped me out when there was conflict in my assignment group. He even helped me in final examination. I knew all these because frankly speaking, the first question in the final examination was the similar but not identical question that I had presented in the class. However, once again, I had disappointed him.

For Audit paper, I even didn't know what had I written in the answer booklet! Even though Ms Tai Yuet Sen who was my lecturer and tutor as well was not as close to me as Mr Lee but I knew that she cared and loved me too. Whatever thing that I asked for, she would tried her best to satisfy me. For example, the AXP assignment. I just joked and tried to ask her to delay the submission date and at last she agreed. In the AXP assignment, she even helped me the most and was not refraining from answering my nonsense or repeated questions again and again! Johnson and Anthony were undeniable helped me in AXP assignment too, especially Johnson. I believed that I couldn't finish the assignment within 4 days and get a satisfactory marks without Johnson's help, I really appreciated it. Ms Tai often tried her best to answer my questions and made as many explanations as possible to me during tutorials. Hence, you can see that my lecturers in this semester loved me so much but I disappointed them! I really couldn't forgive myself!

As for Financial Reporting, this was the most scary accounting paper I had taken before. This was because I couldn't get my accounts balanced for three questions. For your information, this had never happened before, the most question that I couldn't balance was one but three for this time. I just hope that the final answer wouldn't cost me much!

In this semester, I was betrayed twice! You even can't trust the person who is close to you. In short, don't judge a book from its cover! It's really true! Nonetheless, there is one thing turning good in my hostel. My relationship with my house-mates was getting better and better. It's always good to hear that. The only thing which I couldn't forgive myself other than the lecturers' case was I made my Luckygirl furious! Actually, I want to give peace to everyone around me but I did made a serious mistake which caused her went mad! I'm really sorry about that!

Hopefully everything will be turning good in this new year and I won't repeat these kind of stupid mistakes again. In this new year, I'm looking forward to my ambition! I'm trying to realising it now.

Taman Sukun 5

Yo, I went to Taman Sukun to visit my Mama this morning. As usual, I went there via Penang Bridge. However, I took some photos at Penang Bridge before I proceeded.

These photos were taken on 29 January 2011, which was this morning. Why I wanted to take these photos? This is because I want to see how much will it change after some time. As you can see in these photos, there are two islands at the middle of the sea, what will happen to them in the future? Will the beach is still there on the second island? For your information, global warming phenomena is getting worse nowadays and the sea level is gradually increasing, I'm worried that we can't see these two islands in the future. Thereupon, I took this opportunity to take these photos as memory. Furthermore, you may see another Penang Bridge standing on the sea within two years. So, let's look forward to it.

Then, I headed to Taman Sukun. As usual, Mama was very happy when she saw me. We chatted a lot. She told me that she was just discharged from hospital few days ago. This was due to her terrible health. She fainted and 喘 last Thursday, which was Thaipusam and she was warded until this Sunday. Anybody who knows the correct English word for 喘, please don't hesitate to leave me a comment as I can't find this word in my dictionary, I even don't know the word in Malays.

Mama treated me 'siago' in Hokkien. If I'm not mistaken, it's called 'sagu' in Malays. After that, she asked her son to bring me have my lunch outside but I refused. Her son then bought us KFC. Actually, I was not happy with this. This is because my Mama has already terribly sick, so she should not eat any fast food. Actually, they didn't need to treat me lunch as I would be having my lunch at my home, if they really wanted to treat me, an economic rice will be my preference. They didn't need to spend extra for me. What I want is a healthy meal for my Mama.

After my KFC lunch, I said goodbye to my Mama. Then I headed to Carrefour. I followed the route shown by Google Map. However, I couldn't reach there and at last I almost reached Sungai Petani's tolll. Luckily I turned back at the junction before the toll. Fortunately, I managed to reach Carrefour, Prai then. The settings and decorations inside Carrefour, Prai are as same as those in Carrefour, Wangsa Maju. The only difference is there is no plastic bag provided under the Penang State Government policy to promote an environmental friendly environment.

Before I paid the toll fee at Penang Bridge, it started to rain. I stopped my motorcycle at the shielded corridor at Penang Bridge, just before the toll. I stopped for about 15 minutes, then I continued my journey. Unfortunately, it started to rain again just after I paid for the toll fee. I stopped my motorcycle by the side of the bridge and took out my raincoat. Nonetheless, it stopped after 3 minutes. The God was really fooling me! It's okay, I went to Jelutong in order to buy two mee goreng which my friend, L.C.T. introduced to me. Thereafter, I went to fix my motorcycle, I changed the engine oil and meter thread and these cost me RM31.

Mama, please take good care of yourself, I will try my best to graduate and earn as lot money as possible as soon as possible. I want to give you all a peaceful and wealthy life. Trust me, I can do it.

Finally 3

Well, Anthony 'msn' me just now, telling me about my coming months' payments such as rentals and utility bills. Lastly, he told me that they had decided to move out. They're going to rent a room themselves. Thus, it's time to say goodbye. There is a Chinese idiom“天下有不散之筵席” and this is reflected to me now.

It's okay to me, as L.F.Y. had informed me about this before. Thereupon, I'm ready for it. The problem now is, where should I stay starting from the coming May? Who will be my next room mate or should I stay alone? Which area should I stay? Genting Klang, Wangsa Maju, Sri Rampai, Melati or PV? The next thing will be when should I move my thing out? Who can help me dealing with this?

Well, I know it's not the time for me to think about this as the first thing I need to do is finding a new hostel. Then I believe the subsequent obstacles will be resolved. What I need to do now is focusing on my job then find an agent when it's March or April. I think seeking for a room is easier than finding a unit.

BICT Engineering Sdn Bhd

Well, this is my first office job. I started my internship on Monday. I went for interview on Monday and I was asked to start my work immediately. I'm glad that I can negotiate a pay that I desire.

I dressed formal for the interview on the first day. I was shocked that everyone wore casual except boss. Haha, my boss, Mr John told me that I needed not to wear formal. They are linear and we can wear anything which we feel comfortable with except slippers. Then, he gave me two collar-T-shirts. Well, I wore the T-shirt to work since that.

I was given an assignment. I need to cast the cost, profit and finally come out with a report regarding the previous year's performance. Alright, it's okay to me even though I had never done this task before but I consider it as a challenge.

I found it very difficult as the filings are messy. However, I'm used to it day after day and I'm so lucky that the secretary, Steffi (hopefully my spelling is correct) helps me a lot. The first friend that I knew was Steffi and followed by K.P.S. also known as Pepsi. Then I was introduced to Shen and Chin Tatt (hopefully I don't write your name wrongly). According to Shen, our office has 12 staff including me and there are 4 C.L.H.S. boys inclusive myself. Great to hear that.

Our company consists of new fresh graduates (other than bosses) and I'm the youngest. Hence, they take a lot of care to me. They treat me just like a kid even though I always stress that I'm 21 years old, especially Pepsi. Since everybody is young, we can play, joke and work together and there is no barrier among ourselves. Everyone is motivated and full of passion to work because we're young and energetic.

I like the policy here as we're given freedom to do our things. We have flexible lunch time, flexible working style. We can do whatever within the limit ourselves. Everyone is so great that I couldn't believe that some of them even didn't finish their tertiary study, awesome! The unity here is so great that everybody can cooperate with each other and there is a firm bond that links and ties us together. We help each other wilfully and no consideration is being asked for return. In short, I'm working in a peaceful and joyful environment which I'm looking forward to. Thanks God, I find one.

Since everyone is so great, then I feel that I should improve myself. Everyone is so eager to study but I'm the opposite. Pepsi always searches for scholarship to further her study and even C.T. told me that he is interested in taking accounting course, that's why he asks me a lot in this area, hopefully I didn't scare you. Due to this, I must appreciate the chance that I possess and should not relinquish easily, NO, it's not 'easily', it should be 'forever'.

Okay, let's face the challenge.

This is my workstation. ><

Happy Birthday to Me 2

Yo, today is the last day of my Advanced Diploma Year 1 Semester 2's examinations as well as my 21st birthday. Few weeks ago, when I 'skyped' with my mommy, she said they were not afford to make me a gold key. However, it's okay to me as I didn't expect to get that gift too.

After the Financial Reporting examination, I rushed to Canteen 1 in order to have my lunch. Out of my expectation, I was afford to finish my lunch at 12:30p.m.. Then, I speed to Pandan Indah to deliver my motorcycle back to Penang. I reached there by 1p.m.. This schedule was far better than my initial plan which I would reached there by 1:30p.m..

After all the procedures, I walked to the nearby Cempaka LRT Station. It took me half an hour to walk there, it was a tiring journey due to lack of exercise this semester. I had to wait about 15 minutes for the LRT which was beyond my expectation. Luckily I saved a lot of time on my way to Pandan Indah. When I was boarding, my handphone rang. It was my Luckygirl, she sms me wishing me happy birthday. This was not in my expectation, I enjoyed it so much.

When I arrived at Wangsa Maju Station, I saw William and W.W.P. walking towards the bus station. They went to Jusco to relax themselves. I took the same bus with W.W.P.. When we reached TARc, I called my Luckygirl because Maxis offers me free call to all Maxis users today. We chatted quite a lot. I was delighted that there was no awkward throughout the conversation. Keep it up, Recca.

I managed to take a bath before taking taxi to Duta Station. I was so fortunate today that two taxis were waiting for customers. I went for the first taxi and managed to board it. The taxi driver was a Malay, he asked me whether I want to 'lari' when seeing me carrying 3 bags of luggage. I replied:" Bukan la, I mau balik hometown." He doubted:"Ya kah?" Then I said:"Yalo, saya curi punya, sekarang mau lari, haha..." He smiled.

On my way to Duta Station, we chatted a lot. He is very friendly and he even talked sensitive things to me. For example, about the death and sex. I said:"Sekarang belajar pun susah, kerja pun susah, apa boleh buat?" He answered:"Mati sajalah." I laughed. He continued:"Yalah, mati sajalah! You tengok, bila kami hidup, banyak susah. Bila orang mati, mana dia pi? Dekat sana kan? Sebab sana syiok la, barulah mereka tak mau balik. Jadi, mati sajalah."

Then about the sex issue. He suddenly asked me whether I am still a virgin. I said:"rahsia la ni!" He smiled. He said he had a female customer, he asked her this question as well. The girl said no. Haha, she said she likes sex life. It is a loss without having sex life here. Haha, so 'open'!

When I reached Duta Station, I called my Princess. I planned to invite her out. However, she is not in Penang now, then I cancelled my plan. After that, I called aL. I was managed to board the bus at 4:30p.m. even though my bus was scheduled to depart at 4p.m.. As usual, the first half journey is my time to sleep. Nonetheless, I couldn't sleep this time. I just slept for about half an hour. Then I revised my Taxation. A couple of minutes later, the bus stopped at Petronas Petrol Station. We rested for 20 minutes. Then it's the second half of the journey. It's my time to watch drama.

When I reached Penang Bridge, I called my part-time girlfriend number 1. Who is she? Pei Pei la. I planned to asked her out but she is having examination in the next morning. Therefore, I cancelled my plan again. When my mum came to pick me up, I asked her to fetch me to my office where I will start my internship next week. Thereafter, I went to my beloved house.

Once again, a single birthday. By right, I should be with the right person at this right time, but I couldn't afford both. It's okay, I'm used to it already. For your information, I seldom celebrate birthday. As far as I can remember, I just celebrated once during my kid time, years of UPSR and PMR, Diploma Year 2 with aL, Johnson them, and the latest with my house-mates. Thereupon, celebrating birthday is not one of my cultures but I enjoyed it every time. Maybe the right persons are my family members. They are the most important to me. Once again, happy birthday to me.

Before I end my post here, let's make some wishes:
1) I want to enter casino.
2) I want everyone around me is happy, healthy and peace.
3) I hope I won't create trouble to others anymore.
4) I hope I can accumulate enough funds to start my ambitious as soon as possible.
5) I wish to graduate with my friends.

Stop! How can I make so much wishes? Haha, I'm satisfied if at least 3 of them come true.
