Doraemon Expo 2014

We went to Viva Home to visit the Doraemon Expo on the second day of Chinese New Year 2014. It cost us RM25 each but free entrance for old folks who attain the age of 60 and above.

Without talking too much here, I would like to share the photos that I took:

This is the real one. One of the fewer decorations over there.

The front of the entrance ticket.

The back of the entrance ticket.

I believed there were around 100 doraemons over there. It did hook my childhood memory back.

Football 6

It's Juan Mata! Manchester United Football Club had officially announced that Juan Mata joins the Red Devils for a club record fee of 37.1 Million pounds. <http://www.teamtalk.com/news/2483/9134174/Mata-wraps-up-United-switch>

As you all may know, Manchester United had an extremely bad performance so far in this season! Ergo, re-inforcement is necessary for them! I had not watched their match for a long time but from the news I got from newspapers and some websites, their performance was really shit!

Some people blame on the manager, David Moyes while others blame on the management for not giving funds for the transfer window and etc.. In my opinion, there is a point that everybody should take notice of, that is the squad is almost similar to that of last season where they won the Premier League title. Therefore, why the performance was totally different?

Besides, the consistency of the Back Four was not as reliable as previously. Frankly speaking, I really have no idea on what is going on with the Red Devils since others were performing well so far. Now, Mata had arrived. I hope this would be a turning point for Red Devils and they will be back to their winning route as soon as possible.

If Red Devils can't be the top four at the end of this season, I think it would be no excuse to fire the manager for his inflexibility in deploying the resources he has. Let's hope for the best.

Dragon Ball's Spirit

I believe that everyone closes to me knows that I love Dragon Ball. Whenever my mood is down until the trough, I'll look for something else that can boost my mood back, Dragon Ball is one of them.

I was so lucky that I managed to find back the last Dragon Ball movie which I watched during my childhood time, it was 'Dragon Ball GT: A Hero Legacy'. The story mainly focuses on the grandson of Pau, the great great grandson of Goku. Since his appearance looks similar to Goku, hence Pau named him Goku Jr.

He is weak and a coward. He dare not to fight back when he is bullied. He is weak in terms of his physical and power as well. Pau is disappointed sometimes and hence she decides to let him go for an adventure by pretending that she dies due to critical illness.

Goku Jr is very determined to find the dragon balls to save his grandmother and thus, the adventure starts. Even though it's not as challenging as what Goku previously faced but the morale value and the spirit are what I want to emphasise here.

One of the reasons I love Dragon Ball so much is the spirit of not giving in easily. They will fight until the end no matter what are the consequences. They are willing to sacrifice for the sake of the Earth. They haven't given up even once even if their opponent is so much stronger than them.

The most touching moment, which I almost cry out every time they turn into Super Sayan after enduring all the difficulties. They unleash all the potentials and power they have and fight until the last breath. I think this should be what we ought to learn.

Here's the video which I take from Youtube and I would like to share it with all of you:

Hopefully you can enjoy. Last but not least, I love Dragon Ball.

Weekly Exercise

Yo, I went for hiking with my friend, T.H.K. just now at Ayer Itam Dam. I was not feeling good or in fact my emotion and mood were interrupted these few days. I couldn't get the motivation to work. Luckily, I still managed to close my first ever case in this year.

Thanks T.H.K. for sacrificing his hair cut time to accompany me for the hiking. After the hiking, I felt relief at once and now I'm full of energy. One of my 2014 resolutions is to get my fitness back or at least exercise once a week.

The exercise can be jogging, badminton, futsal or even the simple basics, for instance sit up and push up. My tummy is getting bigger and bigger and hence I'm so desperate to remove it! Let's see what will happen one year later after my regular exercise.

SG Farlim Business Proposal Day

Today is SG Farlim Business Proposal Day. I reached Great Eastern Branch at 8:30 a.m.. I completed the business proposal form yesterday morning. Initially I was slump or down but after finishing the income projection form, I began very motivated or 'ohm'!

We were divided into a small group and shared our goals and aims.  My aim is to get RM100k ANP this year and hence I would be promoted into Agent 2 this year. Furthermore, I would like to qualify for M6 at least once.

For your information, I become so motivated since I can project my income which is more than the salary of Senior Associate 2 (SA2) of BDO Penang. Hence, once again, it proves that I had made the right decision to leave BDO.

What was so sweet or warm today was the last session, which was writing a so-called 'love letter', a comment or encouragement indeed to those you care. Initially I received nothing but at last, I got quite a number of encouragement from my colleagues. Yes, I'm not a lay man, hence I'll do something special this year. As I said previously, this year is a very important year to me because it symbolises a promotion year to me.

Don't worry buddies, I'll fight for the glory! The first challenge is to get myself qualified for Phuket's trip. Let's see.

After that, we had our dinner at OceanGreen restaurant. Even though it's located opposite BDO Penang but I had never been there before seriously! The view was good. I went to the beach with my IO and Alfred and I decided that I must hit my target this year and I would like to have an Audi in a few years time.

Emotional Control

I just back to Penang from Taiping. I went there because Super Group organised a motivational seminar for SG Northern Region. My IO fetched me together with L.S.L. and T.E.K.. As usual, we were chatting all the way there.

We talked about our brain system. One of the parts that we touched was emotional control. Actually, can we really control our emotion? I believe the people whose job scope needs them to deal with people definitely will face obstacles. It's pretty normal that they do exist in the process but how we deal with them is the key to success.

I searched through Google just now for emotional control's topic. Frankly speaking, I didn't look for all the websites provided nor read the articles in detail. However, the answers were not what my IO told us. Some of the websites did mention about 7 habits which Mr Micheal Yeo from TARc emphasised so much. Nonetheless, from I heard, there's the 8th habit in the newer version of the book.

For your information, we're analysing how our brain works. Hence, we need to understand our brain in order to control our emotion. Eventually, there was a conclusion as to which is more important or plays a crucial role in our daily activities.

We truly need to control our emotion, otherwise it'll certainly ruin our plan. I met a lot of people since I started my career. My emotion was disturbed many times. To be honest, I couldn't control my emotion sometimes. I did what I was not supposed to do, that was to use my emotion to fight or counter the prospect's emotion. Ergo, I believe you can foresee what is the consequence.

Never mind, I know how to control my emotion now and I surely will improve myself from now onwards.

Happy New Year Eve 2014

Happy new year eve to all my readers. Well, it had been a long time again since I last updated my blog. I'm really sorry for that due to my laziness, business and lack of topics to write about. 2013 is going to end in a few more hours. It's time to review our year and prepare for the new year.

It had been a tough 2013 for me. This was because I changed my lifestyle, working environment and etc.. I officially resigned from BDO on 23th May 2013 and started my insurance career. Therefore, this seven months of insurance life was truly difficult and tough!

Even if I already got myself prepared for the challenges, I still felt down or slump for quite some times. Nonetheless, I didn't relinquish and in fact I started to find my rhythm in this career. Frankly speaking, I didn't get any sale in my first two months. Ergo, I would like to thank Pikachu especially, for being my first ever client. Thank you very much! After that, sales began to come in. Certainly, I would also like to thank all my clients. I'm really thankful and appreciating all the supports from my clients gratefully.

Even though I couldn't hit my promotion target but I managed to hit my maintenance target and even more than that. However, I'm never regret that I quit BDO at first. I start to love my career and my work, indeed. Hence, for the 2014 resolution, I want to challenge my promotion target, obtain my first ever Supremacy Award, M6 for at least two months, at least get my salary catching up with my BDO's salary, challenge my Intermediate Officer for RM150,000 sales and be more disciplined.

Why all are related to my career? This is because my family's lifestyle will get a massive turnover if I can achieve all these. I'm not able to get those at this moment in time as I'm still in the process of learning. I'm a slow learner in this industry but I won't give up easily. I believe in Super Group's system. I'll succeed. Let's see.

These were some of the precious moments in Super Group:

I was selected by my leader to join my first ever M6 competition. This was the dinner in StoneBay after the competition.

This was given by my leader, Swee Teng.

These were taken today at Penang Great Eastern Branch. We did our final effort in order to get the third consecutive champion for SG Northern Region.

Budget Malaysia 2014

Budget Malaysia 2014 was announced yesterday. Well, my topic today is not about Goods and Service Tax (GST) but about the cancellation of white sugar's subsidy.

I was shocked when my dad read it out from newspaper. When I looked through the passage myself, I noticed that it was ridiculous to rank white sugar as non-necessary goods. For your information, many foods consume white sugar, for instance a coffee.

I hope that you guys can imagine how much usage of white sugar and yet our 'respected' government stated that it is not a necessary item. They stood firmly that the act was to help the poor Malaysians to improve their health by reducing the sugar intake!

I regard the reason as nonsense! Would you agree with me? They are even taking steps to reduce other subsidies. Let's think about it. As a country which is rich of natural resources, do you have to take steps to cut off all the subsidies? Can't we sustain ourselves? Where will the money go after cutting down the expenses?

I can't imagine how much increment will there be in prices tomorrow. I can't see any wise solution given by the government to help the poor or improve the situation. What I can see is poor Malaysians have higher burden! Increment in household subsidy of RM150 can really help the citizens? How much can it help? I strongly believe that the trade-off is not balance!

At this moment in time, I have no comment or speechless to our government. God bless.

It'd Been A Long Time

It'd been a long time since I last updated my blog. It was partly due to my busy schedule, some activities and my personal computer was broken down for one month.

Well, many things happened in this period. For instance, I met my Princess. It was not raining when I said goodbye to Andy. Then I met her with her friends waiting outside Gurney Plaza. We just had short conversation and it rained again when I left. Oh my god, what an unfortunate meeting. Frankly speaking, my emotion was interrupted! Luckily, it last for one day only. It didn't affect my work.

It was bad for having no PC to use for one month. On the contrary, it helped me to stay focused on my work. I got some new cases in this period! It proved that life can still be going on without any PC. I use my handphone to surf the internet in this period and hence my handphone was broken down.

It was damn sad. I couldn't receive any sms if my phone was not restarted or I didn't send out a message. Furthermore, the phone list, miss call list and received call list were not updated. Ergo, I didn't know who called me. I hope that my phone just needs to be reset. Otherwise, it'll cost me a lot in buying a new phone.

Currently, I like iPhone 4s and above. I definitely won't buy a new one as I'm not affordable unless I sign the data plan. Nevertheless, I don't use that much, I mean that plan is not suitable to my usage. Samsung, HTC or Sony are certainly not my cup of tea as I tried all the phones in Digi centre before and iPhone definitely strikes my fancy!

Do you guys have friends or yourself having iPhone 4s and above and is looking to sell? If so, kindly leave a message to me.

M6 3 Days 2 Nights Campfire 2013

I attended M6 3D2N Campfire 2013 last Saturday. First and foremost, thanks to my Immediate Officer for sponsoring me there.

I went there by Eunice's car. Of course, on our way there, I tried my best to get as much information as possible from her, including but not limited to how she started her career. Thanks for fetching me and sharing with me.

Initially I was quite panic when I reached there as I just knew roughly 5% of the candidates. Furthermore, my IO was not there as well, he joined us for dinners only. Nevertheless, we were really like one family, everyone treated each other so nice that you wouldn't feel uneasy to deal with one another.

Since I was late, I was quite astonished when I was asked to be the team leader by my senior, Gary Goh. I was the team leader of brown team. He said since I was new, it was always good to have a newbie as the team leader.

It happened as what he said, we won every station game on the first day. Nonetheless, we started to lose on the next day. However, we managed to appear as the first runners-up of all events.

This was the first time I played with all-out! I had never been like this even though I had camping experience with Kadet Bomba dan Penyelamat in Chung Ling High School. I couldn't explain why but I could tell that everyone joining the campfire acting like that! We sang, dance and played crazily.

During our meal time, no matter it was breakfast, lunch or dinner, we always communicated with other members. Even if I just knew about half of them, it was great to see that I eventually dared to approach others. Ergo, I managed to knew Chris, Jing Jing, Wen Xiang, Hao, Kelvin, Sut Chai, Ying Fang, Garren, Cindy, Shindy, Isabelle, Boon Chun, Boon Teik and so on.

There are still lots of photos on Agency's PC but I hope you guys don't mind. Let me share with you some of the photos and video here:

文香(泽音), my IO and I.

Group photos on different days:

This was what I found in the lobby of the hotel.

Before I end here, I would like to thanks 美芳 for fetching me back.
