'Friend's Day'

Yo, I would call today as 'Friend's Day'. Why? This is because I met some of my friends today. Initially, I was planning to buy bus ticket at KOMTAR, then visiting aL who was working at Dewan Sri Pinang. This was what I promised aL yesterday.

After purchasing the bus ticket, I headed to Prangin Mall because Ah Shen told me that there was a shop selling magic tools at third floor. Ergo, I couldn't find it and decided to go to Dewan Sri Pinang. When I reached the ground floor, my instinct asked me to go 1st Avenue.

This was my first time been there. The air-conditioner system was quite good. Fresh air was flowing in the mall. I could feel that the design was quite similar to K.L.C.C.'s concept. Then I went up floor by floor. When I reached second floor, it was an I.T. and electrical appliances' floor. I entered into a shop called 'Best Denki'. I noticed a familiar face in the shop when I was at the front door.

I entered to find the answer. Nonetheless, I couldn't locate the person. When I wanted to give in and went out of the shop, he greeted me. He was Willy, who was Anthony's student leader. Why I couldn't find him just now? This was due to a high wall of the staff's counter. We chatted quite a lot and he introduced me some new technology. After a while, he invited me for lunch even though it was about 2:30p.m.. We had our lunch at the fifth floor of Prangin Mall together with two of his Indian friends. I'm sorry that I forgot what they are called already.

Thereafter, we went back to the shop, Willy continued to introduce me the new technology. Let's stop talking now. Here are the photos which I took in the shop:

Do you know what is this? This machine is called Dyson Air Multiplier. You may call this 'fan without blades'. It is a new design that generate the wind and exert the wind via the focal sphere so that the wind is compacted and focused. It can spin and generate cold wind. It has a remote controller too, the remote controller can be attached or attracted to the head of the fan as they are magnetic.

This is a vacuum cleaner which consists two filters. One is in the filter tank and the other one is inside the ball. This vacuum cleaner uses 'ball technique' which allows the users to switch left or right at 90 degree sharp oven 360 degree without moving a step. The designer got this concept from the hasty wheel-barrow.

This is Willy and this is the another model of the vacuum cleaner which is without the 'ball technique'. However, this machine looks cool after its extension. It may look like a machine gun and it's depending on your own imagination. I purposely asked Willy to post a cool gesture so that I could take a photogenic photo in my blog. Don't be fooled by their outlook. This is because there are a lot of extensions in these 2 machines. Even though they are small but they are compact. What so impressive was these machines didn't discharge hot air but cold air.

This is a portable air-conditioner. According to Willy, the 苏师父 Restaurant bought quite a number of this portable air-conditioners from them.

I was just like a person who has just come out from jungle. I was so surprised and impressed by these technologies. The technology is getting more advanced days after days. Luckily my instinct leaded me to be there, otherwise I might still be an outdated city-man. Then I went to meet aL at Dewan Sri Pinang. He was selling digital camera and video camera over there. He introduced me quite a lot of models and their functions. He even brought me to meet some pretty girls, haha. aL, you know what I mean, right? There was a stage in front of the Dewan Sri Pinang and we found the female singer was quite adorable. aL asked me to ask her for handphone number, haha. aL, you are so naughty!

Anyway, today is my 'Friend's Day' and I enjoyed it so much.

Magic Series 5

World Invasion - Battle Los Angeles

Yo, I watched this movie with aL and my colleagues this Wednesday. Since last Wednesday, Wednesday has been our company's culture for movie. Last Wednesday, we watched 'Big Mommas'. Frankly speaking, this was a nice movie and this Wednesday, it's 'World Invasion's turn.

Initially, I felt this movie disgusting as I didn't know why the cameraman or perhaps the director loved to zoom in or too focus on the facial expression. This was very annoying as it might make me short-sightedness! However, the screen shot was getting better as the movie went on. It's about the US marine fighting against the world intruders- aliens who are desperate for the Earth's water which is their main power source. I enjoyed the combat especially the cool look and M-16 from the US marines which drove me crazy.

Apart from these, what made me so excited was the bond existed among our colleagues. Even though we are just a small company regardless of the business revenues, I mean in respect of staff's number, the real bond does really exist among ourselves. We will treat each other lunch, introduce new things and food, hang out and make jokes among ourselves. I can guarantee that there is no naiveness and selfishness among ourselves. All these make me feeling so warm to be with them. I love them.

Last night, I leaded my colleague, Pepsi to visit 大伯爷. This was because she wanted to find out something from him as there were a number of disasters happened in her family. What made me so surprise was, 大伯爷 was really very powerful. She just gave him some clues and he managed to tell her everything that she needed. Awesome, I had never thought of this before! I'm not superstitious but this really happen in my naked eyes. I thought, she was satisfied from her facial expression and she thanked me so much. Haha, actually just take it easy, girl. Hopefully 大伯爷does really help you out and everything can run smoothly sooner or later.

Seclusion

I think, it's time for me to seclude myself in 'Recca World', which is my simulation world. Of course, the 'Recca World' which I mention here is not my blog! It's a place where I use to calm down, think logically, positively and properly, make a rationale decision and resurrect myself. If you are a Recca's fan, you will know that he used to enter his own world to train and understand himself before the tournament's fight against his brother, Kurei and before his fight against Tendou Jigoku. Therefore, you will know how important the world to us.

For your information, I have died for years. If I'm not mistaken, it was since my Form Three year of study. Now, I have to resurrect myself. I have to face the challenges and my life now. I don't want to escape just like a coward. I think it's time for me to retaliate and take back what belonged to me earlier. I don't want to be playful to my life anymore. I'm serious.

'Toleration is the best gift of the mind. It requires the same effort of the brain that it takes to balance oneself on a bicycle.' is the quote of the day. I strongly agree on this quote, but how many of us understand the real meaning and how many of us can make it? It's pretty easy to say and listen but it's mammoth difficult to instill it in our behaviour and daily life.

'We should not give our all-out when dealing with people, even they are your good or best friends'. This statement came out from one of my good friend's mouth, it's very unbelievable but it might sound normal to you. For your information, I used to all-out to my friends as I think, we have to show my sincerity and the real us to our friends no matter what. Otherwise, there will be no difference between a faker and a liar. Initially, I was quite blighted after hearing this as he was my good friend. This meant that he was not treating me whole-heartedly. He was concealing himself and not honest to me. However, I became okay after some time as I realised that this is the norms in this society even though there are still minority of people not acting in that way, such as me, myself. I don't take friendship lightly! No, never! Maybe due to this, I was betrayed again and again!

Never mind, it's okay now. I will seclude and refresh myself. I promise that I will present a different me to you soon. Let's look for it!

Who Am I?

For your information, I got satisfactory results yesterday. I just managed to get an A for Financial Reporting and 2 B+ for Financial Management and Audit and Assurance. Therefore, I would like to thank Ms Angeline particularly because I won't get an A for Financial Reporting without her 'fair marking style'. I finally achieved an A in TARc KL Main Campus.

Am I relished or blighted? Both are irrelevant! I'm just worried that I would remorse my lecturers. Anyway, at least I didn't end my 'last year' acrimoniously. To me, I'm quite satisfied with my results if you know my study method last semester. I didn't memorise a word, I just flipped through the text books and tried to remember as much as I could. Obviously, this method didn't work on me. Thus, even with my lousy method, I could get this kind of results, then many others should achieve more excellent results than mine. Congratulations for those who make it. God is just and fair. The results you get will match against the effort which you have paid in.

Yesterday, I submitted my second assignment to my boss. Huh, second assignment again? Yep, I just handed it to my boss yesterday because I needed to finalise the overtime issue with him. He was very satisfied with my work and asked me to send him a soft copy as he wanted to send to KL's Director so that he could have a look in my work which they would implement new policy based on my outcomes. Great to hear that! I think, they might need my presentation later. I'm looking forward to it.

Yesterday again, Anthony sms and asked me to on msn that night at 10.00p.m sharp because he wanted to discuss the hostel's thing with us. Initially, the discussion just consisted of 4 persons, Anthony, L.F.Y., Will Leow and me. After I asked Fenny to enter our discussion through Facebook, the conversation then comprised of 5 persons but it still lacked of 2 persons, who were Lucas Koay and Dominic Lim as they both didn't have online service in their house.

The discussion took more than an hour. The thing that Anthony wanted to discuss with us was the owner asked us to pay for another half month's rental which meant our contract would expire officially on 14 May 2011 if she can't find new tenants within these 2 months. Actually we don't need to pay that if Anthony told the owner about our intention to move to the owner 2 months in advance. However, Anthony misunderstood from the beginning that, we only have to inform owner in advance if and only if we wish to move earlier before the contract ends. However, from what I heard when Anthony and me signed the contract was, we have to inform owner if we want to move, which includes both earlier or in time. In the end, I agreed to pay in order not to enrage them. Anthony was so happy after telling our agent, Ms Jessy who assured him that she would find a new tenant within that period.

I dreamed her. I dreamed that I date with her last night. Today, I was so free in the office, while waiting for the next assignment, I read comics in the office. As L.F.Y. introduced me some websites, I watched the last episode of Flame of Recca, which he fights with Tendo Jigoku. This was my first time watch it in anime form. It's a mammoth touching anime. Then, I know what should I do.

Okay, back to the topic today. Who am I? Anyone knows who am I, please tell me because even I don't know myself. The real 'me' is gone missing! The current 'me' is not the real me. In fact, I don't know who am I actually! I think, I should take some time to re-organise myself. Anyway, just give me some time. Recently, I find back my aura, in Japanese, it's called 'ki'! I believe with this aura, I can accomplish anything. In fact, I hate my current character! I want to change. No, I must change! Let's look for it!

Bad Mood

For your information, I have been having bad mood this week due to some circumstances. I can't relieve myself until now. This is because someone is pissing me off! I hate that person. I hope that person can scram out of my life!

As usual, I went to play badminton on Thursday and I found that exercise could relax myself. I think, I should have more exercise and train back my fitness. Unfortunately, I'm having a swollen eye now. My left eye is swollen. I started to have it since Wednesday but by that time, it was just a small matter and not serious, therefore I didn't take it for granted. Nonetheless, it becomes worse today. I just can hardly open half of my eye now. Hopefully the medicine can heal me as soon as possible.

Yesterday, I found a very funny person, no, he is a boss. He went to our office before lunch time wanting to take some valves from our office for testing. He is JB Control Sdn Bhd's boss, Mr Lim. He is very humorous and likes to tease our Steffi, haha... He suddenly invited all the staff in the office for lunch. We went to a western restaurant, called Eighteen downstairs. We ordered 4 set lunches with fish and chips, steak, tomyam seafood spaghetti and another I forgot what it's called.

The meals were so delicious. If I was not mistaken, the appetizer was made of tomato, yummy. Before the dessert, we were planning to go and he was going straight to pay the bill at the counter but the waiter asked us to have our dessert first before we went off. Apparently, we needed to take the ice-cream by ourselves but not served by them. After we enjoyed the ice-cream, Mr Lim went to pay for the bill again. What a pleasant boss, willing to treat us lunch in restaurant even though we were not his employees. One set lunch cost RM19.80. Oh ya, before I forgot, we chatted quite well during our lunch. He didn't look down on us but treated us just like his family members. Good to have this kind of boss and he and my boss are surely the role model to me and others as well. This is because this should what a boss do and act in order to get commitment from others. Thanks, Mr Lim, hopefully you can remember me and I can help you later.

Recent Life

Hi, everybody. It's been more than 1 week since my last post. How are you recently? Well, how am I instead? Let you see one picture first.

Surprise? Why I had this kind of helmet? Well, this is not my own helmet, it belongs to one of my good friends in my office, a technician, named Shen. He said a customer gave him this. I found it cute and curious on it, so I tried to wear this helmet in his car after having our lunch.

See this water bottle! What is so special about it? Haha, it was me to change it. Don't think it is a pretty easy thing to change a new one. This was my first time to change the water bottle. Initially, I was so naive that I thought it would be easy for me to have it a change. However, I was regret thinking like this, as it was really pretty heavy! I didn't know whether it was me didn't have enough energy or my energy was not recovered yet since I just played badminton with aL for two hours last night.

Oh ya, tell you all one thing. I had just finished my second assignment given by my boss. It's about costing and overheads. Even if it was my first time to do this task, I found it extremely challenging and satisfying! Now, I'm waiting for the third challenge.

My Princess posted a status on Facebook this afternoon. It sounded like this ‘一个被伤害过的人是不可能忘记那段痛苦的回忆！只是不再执着~’. Erm, I strongly support this statement. Nonetheless, this cannot reflect on my love as I have never been hurt by others before. If you think so, think again, I hurt myself or they hurt me?

Before I forget, I want to declare here that my dad loses his job once again! Oh my God, this year is really a tough year for my family. Financial difficulties truly harm people a lot! I still remember that I told some friends about my dad's loss of employment. I told them that I was a bankruptcy and I needed money. Majority of them thought and said that I was a 'money face'. Haha, it's okay. To me, they were just not understanding the real situation and the true difficulties.

Anyway, tomorrow will hang out with my grandpa, hopefully it's a sunny day.

New Life 3

Yo, what a new life again! What's up everybody? How are you doing currently? I hope everything is fine, yea.

As you may know, it had been one month since my internship. Therefore, it's time to show some results. Well, I strongly believe that I will finish my assignment by this week! Then, I think I will start to learn new thing, which everyone taking accounting course will not have a chance to learn. Luckily I have it, I really appreciate it.

Just now, my Princess called me. I knew that the person using her Facebook account this morning was her boyfriend. No wonder he didn't reply me even though I just said hi to my Princess. Anyway, forget about it, I don't feel sorry at all.

My Princess hoped me to meet her because she wanted to return money to me. It's okay to me, I doesn't need that money currently, you may return to me lately. What made me so happy was, she made it finally! She passed all her papers last semester. I'm really glad to hear that! It proved that our effort was realised! For your information, I taught her overnight after I came back to Penang. Even if it was tough, tired and cumbersome as I need to went to her hostel everyday and went back to my home at midnight or even dawn, it really worthed it! I didn't know how good are her results but at least, she passed the papers.

I believe you can do it on your own, even without my help. Thereupon, please study earlier. You can do it! We are in the same level!

One-Day Trip

This morning, I launched a one-day trip with my grandpa and youngest sister. We depart at 10 a.m. sharp. My grandpa suggested me to go to Jelutong to visit a park but we couldn't find the park and hence we proceeded to Batu Maung in order to go to the Temple of San Bao （三保太监）.

Why we wanted to go there? This is because my grandpa told me that the footprint in front of the temple is a false footprint, the real footprint is located on a rock which is on the hill. Therefore, I purposely fetched my grandpa there to find the real footprint of San Bao. Nonetheless, we still couldn't find it as my grandpa said the road around there had changed, he couldn't recognise the road anymore even though he had lived there for years but that was the 1960's.

The bottom one is male. This is because as you can see here, this one has 'bird'--penis whereas the other one is embracing a baby. Do you guess it right? Do you notice this difference?

Then, we continued to Balik Pulau through Permatang. We went to a Hindu temple which according to my grandpa, Loh Boon Siew and one of his friends went there to pray and asked for lottery number, hence they won the lottery and started to get rich.

This is it. It is located at the sharp corner of the road.

After that we moved to Teluk Bahang to visit the dams. This is the first time my grandpa went to the Teluk Bahang's dams. Then, we went home because my sister was rushing for her appointment and me too. I was rushing for aL's badminton invitation. What a tiring but enjoyable trip. Next trip will be the monster's place which I promised to take photos for my dear readers few years ago.

天公诞 2011

昨晚子时，大伙儿就开始拜天公了，因为年初九是玉王大帝的元旦。由于我在公司听见James说初九才是福建人真正的农历新年，因此身为福建人又不知道此事的我拜完天公后，就上网找了一些资料。就与大家分享吧：


[中国的传统易理，对数目字的认识，是以一到九为实数；以一为阳数之始，以九为原始之。在道教，玉皇天尊被认为是天界的大罗天界的主宰，尊贵非凡，因此，以象征“始”和“终”的日子作为其神诞。同时，卦象中“一”和“九”，象征了人间必需的“水”和“火”。闽南人俗称此日为“天公生”。
　　
闽南风俗，对“天公生”的注重，比之庆祝新年元旦有过之而无不及。这种风俗也被先人带到马来西亚，以至形成本地宗教文化的特色之一。闽南人流传的一则传说把“天公生”看得比新年重要，并且对传说内容作了解释。
　　
传说中，在唐朝，黄巢的军队曾在新年间从北方到南方（也有人说是宋朝杨宗保，又有人说是唐代开漳圣王陈元光，总之，是传说！），北方军队在遇到服饰与语言不同的福建居民时，由于听到这些居民自称是“狼”（闽南音“人”的读音），而大开杀戒。
　　
面对北方强兵的福建居民，只好纷纷逃到甘蔗园内躲避。一直到北兵弄清楚是怎回事，停止了杀戳。南方的福建人才走出蔗园。
　　
据说，侥幸仅存的福建人便把走出蔗园的日子，即正月初九日，用来补过新年，形成了后来的风俗。
　　
闽南人拜天公俗以甘蔗拜祭。又有传说这祭品的出现，不只是为了纪念这一事件，也是纪念掩謢难民避入蔗园而牺牲的一位守蔗园老伯。


天公诞虽然是一个宗教节日。但是，和天公诞有关的传说，却反映了积极的反战思想，强调不同语言文化沟通的重要。
　　
我们当然不必把传说当真，但是，历史上汉族从东晋朝至唐朝大规模移入福建时，的确和当地人产生过矛盾；当时的汉兵把他族平民（或甚至以“狼”为图腾的少数部落）当成畜 生的杀戳行为，的确可能发生过，当然也是违反上天好生之德。
　　
过去的史实，可能会演化成为传说，传说背后有些事实的根据。
　　
这则传说，警惕我们，战争的可怕与平民的无辜。它也说明，族与族，以及人与人互相接受才能止杀；为了和平，人们主动深入瞭对方和沟通是很重要。]
