Merry Christmas 2010 @ KL Times Square

I woke up at around 7:45a.m. this morning because I need to go to my uncle's house by 9:30a.m.. I quickly took a bath because the sky looked dark! However, it didn't rain and thus I departed at 9:00a.m. sharp! I speed along the way as the road was so 'empty'! I couldn't believe that it took me 30 minutes to reach my uncle's house even by speeding! When I reached there, my eldest auntie whose birthday is today, same as my youngest sister still didn't arrive yet. We called them at 10:00a.m.. Finally, we managed to have our breakfast at 10:10a.m..

When we finished our breakfast, we went back to my uncle's house and watched movie. After that, my eldest auntie said they wanted to go shopping but before that, they would went back to my cousin's hostel to meet my other cousin. Okay, we didn't follow them but plan to meet them at Times Square later. What a sudden, they called us after leaving for 15 minutes stating that they were heading to Times Square.

Alright, we departed thereafter, but we managed to reach Times Square first. We just could meet them after hanging around for 30 minutes. How slow they were! I bought a shirt over there but wait, should I call it a shirt? This is because it is a combination of shirt and jacket! Whatever it is, it cost me RM49.90. I tried to use my newly-applied ATM cum Visa Debit Card to pay but the owner said his machine couldn't detect my card and asked me to give him another card. I had no choice, but to give him my Debit MarterCard Card.

We shopped for 5 hours, hehe... However, I didn't see my cousin (my eldest auntie's youngest daughter) bought any thing but she did pick and choose the items over there. This is one of the reasons why I hate shopping with girls. To me, this is just a waste of effort and time! 5 hours without any thing to purchase, I really 'salute' her. Later, my eldest auntie's second daughter met us with her husband and newly-born child. This was my first time to see my nephew.

Then we went back to my uncle's house and have a noodle cooked by my auntie. Then, I went back to my hostel. Before that, I refilled petrol at a Shell petrol station nearby. I tried to use my ATM + Visa Debit Card again since the staff of Public Bank said I can use the card without loading any credit to the Visa account as it is linked to my saving account. This time, it worked.

Christmas tree, hohoho... Cosmic Christmas is this year's theme.

This was the largest Christmas tree I could ever find in Times Square.

If these were the real men, how dangerous it is?

Haiz, wait for the girls shopping until exhausted, then sleep for a while. The first one was taken by myself and the second one was taken by my cousin. Which one is better?

Reference

Yo, I had finished my effort in searching for people to be my reference in resume today. I found Ms Tai as my reference last Friday and asked Mr Lee to be my reference today.

Ms Tai initially questioned me. She said:"I don't know you for long, it's just about two months, how could I sure that you are the one who is able to work, willing to work and your attitude?". I just replied:"See it through your eyes.". She then further asked me to say that I can do it in order to be my reference. I said:" Action speaks louder than word. There is no point for me to just say it but don't do it. If you think I can, then I can.". However, she insisted me to say it out, then I assured her that I will. She gave me her handphone number which most of the lecturers won't give as they are scared of annoyance from students, especially few days before examination. Nonetheless, I assured her that I won't call her before examination, if I do it, then she can fail me straight away. She then further added a clause to me, which was I have to do at least two pass-year questions a day. This one I couldn't agree her absolutely but I promised that I would try after finishing input those necessary information.

Today, I invited Mr Lee as my reference in his staff room before asking him some questions regarding the syllabus. As usual, he was reluctant to give me his handphone number due to the same reason. Nevertheless, I pointed Ms Tai's one to him in order to assure him that I am the one who worth trusted. Once again, I told him that he can fail me straight away in case I call him before examination. He smiled and agreed.

I feel that both my lecturers treat me so well. I think, I am the only one who can get the real handphone number from them. This is because I have seen some students asking them to be their reference too but they just provide college mail and college phone number to them. Therefore, I can consider myself as a lucky boy! I really appreciate it, thanks a lot, my dedicated lecturers. I promise you that I will try my best in the final examination.

After finishing my lunch with Wai Hon, I headed to Public Bank near my hostel to buy the ACCA bank draft because tomorrow is the submission date. Nonetheless, I was disappointed once again because there was no stock available. Then I decided to buy it from MayBank, but I needed to withdraw cash. Here was the problem as my ATM card couldn't be used in other ATM machines other than my college's ones. Are you feeling weird about this? Please do believe me, this is the truth!

It's okay, it's still young, I rode my motorcycle down to the city, hoping to find other Public Banks but I failed to find one. The circumstance turned bad when I reached near Dataran Merdeka there as it started to rain. However, it stopped just after 5 minutes. It really played a fool at me! Unexpectedly, I rode to Sri Petaling(大城堡), I recalled that there is a Public Bank opposite The Store as I had seen my cousin-in-law clearing his bills at the deposit machine.

Nonetheless, it is under renovation. I started to relinquish but try to buy the bank draft from other banks, such as Affin Bank, CIMB Bank, Bank Rakyat and so on. Nevertheless, my withdrawals of money were rejected by all the banks' ATM machines. What the heck! I began to worry as tomorrow is the due date. I called my cousin for help. I asked him that where can I find another Public Bank nearby. He said he can help me to buy one as there are banks available in KLIA.

I continued my way to the under-renovating Public Bank because I think it's impossible to retrench a branch's operation in a sudden. Out of my expectation, the banking hall is operating in the first floor. I entered into the banking hall and asked for UK bank draft's form and eventually purchased the bank draft! Of course, I stopped my cousin from buying me the bank draft before that. Before I went back, I pressed the button of customer service as I was really fed up with my ATM card. I wanted to change it. Even though there were no pretty staff over there but their service was better than those near my hostel's ones. They always smile and talk nicely and gently. I love their service and attitude. Thereupon, I own two debit cards now. One is Public Bank MasterCard Debit Card while the other one is Public Bank Visa Debit Card + ATM Card.
