Taman Sukun 6

Time's Up

Last week, I on leave for two days because I needed to settle my things in Kuala Lumpur. However, when I arrived at Bukit Jalil Bus Station, it rained like cats and dogs. What made me so furious was, there were people trying to get customers by approaching the new arrivals. As usual, I said:"Sudah ada!" Then he replied:"Sudah ada? Kalau begitu, terus naik bas la! Sudah ada..." I just wanted to slap him straight away during that time. Nonetheless, I didn't do that but headed to the counter to take my return bus ticket which I had ordered and paid via online transaction. There was a long story to purchase bus ticket online. I tried it for the first time after the website had changed its new look. Somehow I met a lot of problems with my Public Bank TARc Debit MasterCard Card. The transaction couldn't be processed but that was not the case when I purchased with my Public Bank Day-to-Day VISA Debit Card. Hence, I e-mailed Public Bank to complain and clarify whether my Public Bank TARc Debit Mastercard Card was a 3D Authentication Card. I e-mailed on Saturday and the customer service department phoned me on the next Monday. I was taught to set my own PIN number which was different from the ATM PIN number and she asked me to print screen the webpage when the problem's tab popped out. Of course, the problem occurred again and I did what was asked. She called me again and she said that was not Public Bank's problem and they would keep in contact with the merchant.

The next day, my cousin and I moved all my things out from my hostel. Nevertheless, I noticed that my stainless-steel bowl, toothpaste and tripod socket were gone missing. It took us two rounds to move my things with one journey. After set up everything at my new room, we were getting tired already.

On Saturday, I hanged out with my uncle, aunty and my cousin at Pudu, then we went to Times Square. My uncle purposely brought me to 13th floor to visit the Toto headquarter. He asked me to buy a number for him as well. Maybe he still thinks that I bring luck to him, I'm his lucky star.

Sunday was my cousin's marriage registration day. We went to 天后宫 and took a lot of pictures. Once again, I was the video camera man. My filming skills had improved a lot after gaining some experience from last year's first attempt. After that, we went to Giant. At 2:45p.m., my cousin fetched me to Puduraya new bus station which was just commenced in used since Saturday. She asked me to take pictures for her reference.

This is the outlook of the bus station.

This is the third floor, which is also known as the 'counter floor'.

This is the directory at every escalator.

This is the 'bus status TV' at each floor. However, don't rely heavily on the information provided because as for my case here, the bus number was wrongly stated on the TV.

The is the top floor, which is also the car park.

Second floor.

This is the first floor, which is also known as waiting area. As you can see here, there are 22 platforms altogether. This floor is very hot since the flyover is connected at the main entrance and there is no automatic door built and hence the hot air from the outside can enter haphazardly! Imagine, I was sweating when I waited for the time to board the bus.

This is the platform, which is also the ground floor. See, the height just can fit the normal bus but not the double-decker. I wonder where the passengers should board double-decker.

Even though this was just my first time been there, I was not nervous but wandering around with curiosity. The interior design and facilities were good and nice but I thought, the air-conditioner system still needed some improvements.

Last night, I passed my hostel's keys and parking lot's card to Anthony. I was late a bit because I was having dinner with my 'mother-in-law' before that. Of course, I told Anthony about my lost things and he promised that he would find out for me, thanks.
