End of Advanced Diploma Year 2 Semester 2

This Tuesday, our final examinations' results were out. I got unexpected results, both good and bad. As usual, you could see different emotions and feelings on Facebook wall. Congratulation to those who passed and be strong and never give up to those who failed.

I managed to achieve a second A in my Advanced Diploma study. However, it was not a core subject, it was Moral dan Etika. Once again, this proved that watching television did help in our study, sometimes. The doctor's ethics and ethical codes were well applied by me. Thanks to Kenneth Ma in '36 Hours On Call'.

Out of my expectation, I didn't fail my P4 Advanced Financial Management. I had a B+ for P4. I was so excited and called Dr Wong on the spot. She thought I could bring her good news but her voice indicated that she was not satisfied by my results. It's okay, I'll try my best in my ACCA.

I just managed to get B- for both P6 Advanced Taxation and Financial Decision Making. I was upset for my P6's result as I thought I could get at least B+. This showed that I was far behind in this subject. I admit that I sacrificed this subject for the sake of my P4. It was really unfair to my lecturers, Mr Michael Yeo, Mr Chong G. Chuang and my tutor, Ms Wong Shau Wen. Nonetheless, I can't do anything apart from saying sorry. Sorry all, please forgive me, I still want to fight for my P4 in ACCA but I promise that I will pay more time on P6 this round, unlike the final examination where I just assigned 1 week for P6 from scratch.

I was shocked when I got B- for F.D.M., this was because my first assignment was badly done. I just scored 26 upon 40. I thought I would get C for this subject. Thanks to Vincent Pang's leadership in the second assignment. He did well for the report but in my opinion, there were still rooms for improvement.

Due to this, I had fallen out of the targeted CGPA of 3.5000. I just managed to maintain a CGPA of 3.3291. It was damn disappointed but I accepted the truth. Passing all the subjects implied that I had officially graduated and it's time to look for a job. Nevertheless, I'll only do so after my ACCA examinations.

I regard it as a big step forward towards my dream. I hope to make it in 15 years, we shall see.

I went to meet Ms Tai on Wednesday. She encouraged me to apply for audit position since I was not attached yet. She also agreed to be my reference. I met Mr Tan on way to canteen. He said:"Well done". I thanked him.

Today was the last revision class for P4. I slept at around 11:30p.m. last night and woke up at six in the morning. Nonetheless, I was full of energy today. I didn't fall asleep just now. E.S.H. and I purposely went to college a little bit earlier because we wanted to give some tokens of appreciation to Dr Wong.

We bought it at Kaison, KL Festival City. It's a secret to disclose what did we buy but I can tell you all that they were meaningful and useful to her. She was so surprised when we gave her the gifts. She said she was so embarrassed to accept the gifts as we were still not earning any income. However, they were our thoughts of heart.

In her staff room, she told me that I was probably scoring 72 marks in the final since I got B+ and my coursework were 78 marks. She said I did extremely well in Section B.

She gave us a mock test today. I just scored roughly 52 marks. I was on the edge of failing but this mark was one of the highest today. She wanted us to buck up! I promised her that I would challenge for the first placing in the world to fulfill her dream. Hopefully I can do it!
