目无尊长 2

I always get frustrated and fed up on Monday. Why? Students are not behaving and respecting the tutor! Since Advanced Taxation is an optional paper, hence my class combines with another class for the tutorial. Unfortunately, noise is everywhere.

Ms Wong was explaining and showing the model answers at the front but students were chatting and making noise at the back. In my opinion, this was terribly rude. They were not respecting the tutor or speaker! If you think that you're so good, then just leave the venue. There is no point for you to attend the tutorial just to get attendance!

If I were Ms Wong, I would ask them to leave. Seriously, who cares? It's better if the noise is nowhere during the tutorial. They were so selfish that they ignored the rights of other stakeholders, including me! I want to learn, so please give your tongue a rest! Please don't disturb my learning anymore, otherwise I can't promise anything.

Actually Ms Wong is good, at least she can answer my questions and clear my doubts. She would find the solution for me even if she couldn't answer my question during that time. Her only weakness is her voice is too soft. No wonder Mr Michael said we should speak louder than the interviewer during job interview in order to raise our chance of employment.

I'm dare to say that those look down on Ms Wong are stupids and idiots! Probably, you don't know her history. She is tough! Anyway, as our tutor, we should respect her, shouldn't we?

I didn't say that I'm perfect. However, let me quote you a case. Dr Wong was having an arm's muscle cramp. She felt so pain until she couldn't lift her right hand and need to consult specialist in Tawakal Hospital this morning. E.S.H. and I always carry her bags.

I know that many of the students said we were polishing her shoes with the intention to get high marks or tips from her. As you may know from my previous post 'tips', I don't believe in tips. Therefore, there is no point for me to do that. What was so humiliating was students asked us for tips!

I talked with E.S.H. before. We shared the common understanding that we helped Dr Wong because she was in need. He said Dr Wong was 'interactable', which means we can talk to Dr Wong without any worry. From my point of view, I helped her was because firstly, she is the kind of person whom can talk to; secondly, I can see her sacrifice, commitment and effort; thirdly, she is kind and humble. Even though she got her doctorate, she is not similar to other Drs. I like her and I bind her than any others.

She was so pleased to have us to help her. She told us this morning that, her son said she was quite lucky to have students to carry her bags on her behalf. I answered:"It's nothing, it's our pleasure and duty to help you. Don't take it too seriously." She smiled, she said she wouldn't get this kind of students in other college, for instance Sunway. Those students are driving bigger car than the lecturers, they won't care!

To me, it was just a little help as compared to what Dr Wong had done for us. Nonetheless, she took it seriously and treated it as an invaluable gift from the students. We have a good relationship with Dr Wong because of E.S.H.. Dr Wong gets to know me through E.S.H.. She loves us so much.

For example, she will scold the students if they ask her something which is easy to her. Nevertheless, she will answer us patiently if we ask her similar question. This is what I discover. I know it and appreciate it so much, hence I'm more than willing to help her. Frankly speaking, taking 2 bags for you is not a big matter. They are relatively light to me but they are heavy to a senior citizen. If you don't mind, we can carry the bags for you for the rest of the semester.

The most important thing is, take good care of yourself just like what you ask us to do.
