Study Life

My new semester started this week. After one week of studying, it's time to come to an initial assessment.

Firstly, I can't believe that two of friends taking exactly the optional papers as me. We must be don't know how to write the word 'die'. Secondly, students still take things for granted. They still like to complain.

Basically, they're complaining the lecturers. First of all, Advanced Taxation. I received some feedback that the lecturer, Mr Chong was weak in communicating. He liked to pause for seconds. In my opinion, he would be better if he could delete the unnecessary history and focus more on the topic in detailed.

For Advanced Financial Management. Since the lecturer, Ms Chang is a newbie in lecturing, then there are surely complaints. I received complaints immediately after Ms Chang opened her mouth. Frankly speaking, I didn't know what she taught as well but I thought, this might be because I didn't get the text book yet. I strongly believe that she is capable via what she showed when I asked her some questions. She paid extra patience in dealing and tackling questions from students. In fact, she is dedicated but students still complain!

Again, students today are more towards 'spoon feed' type. Some of them even planned to complain to SBS office and Mr Simson in order to change lecturer. They had never thought of finding remedy from internal sources, they just knew that when there was a problem, then it must be because of the lecturer (external party)! Some of them made up their mind to take tuition.

Come on, you're matured student at this age, initiative is indispensable. Don't tell me you're going to behave like this in working. If this is the case, then God bless you. Try to recall the Mr Michael's 'doughnut theory', don't just look at the hole, think of its surroundings.

Taman Pertanian Malaysia

Just few days after the ACCA examinations, we have to back in action again as our new semester starts today. I came back to Kuala Lumpur on Saturday. Thursday, I asked aL for help after playing the badminton but the delivery company closed on that day. Sorry for wasting your petrol, aL. When I was at home, I called to Kuala Lumpur's branch for clarification. They said the guys from Penang needed to attend a funeral in Bukit Mertajam, so they rested on that day and would be continuing the business the next day. He told me their operating hour was from 9a.m. to 5p.m..

I went there again with my mom and we reached there at 9a.m. sharp but the same incident happened again. This annoyed me so much. Again, I phoned to K.L. and the guy there told me they might still rest on that day. I was totally fed up with him. My cousin helped me to find another delivery company and she made it. The delivery company was just few units on the right of my preference. Nonetheless, the uncle told me that there was no delivery on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

All these made me so frustrated and I started to moan around. I began to bemoan my luck. Actually, these were just parts of my bad luck after the ACCA examinations.

I fetched my grandpa to hospital to take his medicine and Tanjung Bungah for sonar. Out of my expectation, my mom and my grandpa didn't know that they actually could take the medicine at other centres. I asked my grandpa tell the doctor about this and the doctor approved. Next time, he just needs to go to General Hospital for checking-up and takes his medicines at any other centres.

I had fetched my grandpa to the sonar eleven times according to him. He went there because he had felt better after the sonar as the sonar was not the normal sonar but with Chinese medicines. Hopefully the effect is just like what he tells me.

Saturday, I took the bus on 8:30a.m.. A Chinese guy asked me for my bus's destination and asked me for help to guard his bags with the typical China's accent. I was sure that he was not from China but the way he spoke was too strange in Malaysia but I could understand what he said.

My cousin offered me a fetch. She asked me to wait for her in front of A&W. Since she was late, I went to A&W to have a lunch. I called my dad before that to know whether he did manage to deliver my motorcycle that day. He told me that the delivery company did open the day before but their operating hour was from 10a.m. to 6p.m.. On my way to put the burger into my mouth, my eldest auntie called me. She asked me for the location to buy Smart Tag and Touch n Go. After I finished my burger, a Malay girl approached me. She was just three to four years old. She showed me her hand asking for money while counting the money which she managed to collect from others. Initially I didn't know what she wanted so I said "buat apa". She didn't bother me but counting the notes. I knew what she wanted but I chose to ignore her. Then, she moved to her mother. If you were handicapped or old lady, I might give you some!

At night, my cousin fetched me to her house. I slept over there. The next morning, we went to Taman Pertanian Malaysia. We were all six people, my cousin and her husband, her husband's youngest brother, their cousin, their cousin's friend and me. The entrance fee was RM3 each. Then we required to run to book bicycles. Imagine, everyone was running for the bicycles. The bicycle's rental was RM5 for the first hour then RM1 subsequently. We needed to spend RM9 each.

We had our breakfast there and started to cycle then. Our first destination was Taman Haiwan. There got a parrot, rabbit, chameleon and deers. Then we moved to 'Four Seasons House'. The season of this month was winter. But we had to go out to the entrance there to buy the ticket for the 'Four Seasons House'. The receptionist was not telling us about this, haiz... Again, the entrance fee cost us RM3 each.

The temperature in the 'Four Seasons House' was between -7 and -2 degree celcius. Since we were just wearing sports wear, we shivered in the House.

There was this game available but the fee was not affordable. There were three levels altogether. The 'extreme' level would cost us RM45, hence we canceled this activity.

This was my first time to cycle for at least 4 hours and it was very tiring! Anyway, it was fun.
