Promise

Today is my last day of the first semester in TARc. I attended the last lecture, which was Taxation. You mostly will think that I was there because I wanted to get some tips from lecturer, won't you? However, I want to tell that you are wrong! This is my way to show my respect towards my lecturer, hence I won't simply change class or absent without any reason.

Before my Taxation's lecturer, Mr Michael Yeo ended the lecture, he told us a story about his late father. He also told us that he might or might not be teaching us Advanced Taxation. At that moment, my thinking was 'if you are not my Advanced Taxation's lecturer or tutor, I am not going to take this subject'. This is because I enjoy his way of teaching even there are plenty of tired jokes. Actually, as what my Financial Reporting's tutor, Ms Angeline Yap said, a successful lecturer is the one who can make his students from hating the subject to loving it. Thus, he is considered a successful lecturer since as you may know, I used to skip Basic Taxation's class or pay no attention during the class in Diploma. Now, I am interested in Tax even though I got low coursework marks.

As what I had predicted, I managed to get 65% of my coursework marks. That means, I need to get at least 87 marks in the final examination in order to get an A for this subject. At first, I was quite disappointed but after an incidence, I change my mind. Mr Michael prayed for us to the God before the lecture was dismissed. He asked the God to remember us, help us, bless us and etc. I was so touched and my tears almost went down. I talked to myself, I can't disappoint this dedicated lecturer. I must get an A for this subject. Even though 87 marks is considered high to me but I must try my best to achieve this. Yes, this is a MUST!

Nonetheless, according to my friend, there is a system in my college that it just will give 10% of the students to get an A. I don't believe him but I will do my part and try my best in the final examination. Hope for the best.

Magic Series

Yo, yesterday I performed a magic to my English's tutor, Mr Johnny. Here is the video clip for your enjoyment:

However, this magic was not performed well in the first time as my tutor misunderstood me. I asked him to think of a number between 9 and 20, which meant the number excluded 9 and 20, but he somehow chose 20. That was the reason why I failed to show this magic in the first time. Here is the failed video clip:

Hopefully all of you enjoy it and I promise that more magic video clips to come in the future. Oh ya, don't blame my camera man as this was his first time to film video, he couldn't get the best angle and the screen were upside down. Haiz... Promise will make improvements in the future clips. Please feel free to leave comments as to the suggestions or improvements that are needed. Thanks.

Taxation

Oh my God! This morning, I got my individual Tax assignment. I just managed to get 14/20, which was equivalent to 70 marks. The first thinking I had after getting the marks was I really need to pay many hard work in my final examination. I still have group Tax assignment, whose marks will be made known to us on Thursday or Friday, if the same worst thing happens again, then it will be a hell to me.

I have counted, I assume that I just get 65% of my coursework, that means I still need to get at least 84.5 marks in my final examination in order to get an A. This time really 'Oh My God'! How can I get so high marks based on my current performance? I am left with no choice but to start studying right now. No procrastination is allowed! Yes, no procrastination is allowed to you, Recca!
