Friendship

Nowadays, it's extremely difficult to find a true friendship. You'll get what I mean as u grow older. Experience and encounter will teach and tell you everything.

Yesterday I found my good friend during secondary school, Joey Lim. Unfortunately, he was rushing for his part-time job. He found me automatically today. The first thing he asked me yesterday before saying good bye to me was "You still remember me?". Definitely, I still remember you. You were my 'English dictionary' in my secondary studies. However, you mean more than a friend to me. I'm grateful to have you as my friend. All my friends are meant to enlighten my life and I'm glad to know them.

He is currently pursuing his studies in Japan. Due to financial problem, he has to work as part-timer to support his living over there. He encouraged me to go overseas as it would let me experience what a life is and as an experience-gaining journey. I hope so but financial factor deters me from achieving it. As the eldest son in my family, I have to undertake the responsibility to support my family financially and morally.

He feels it worthwhile even though he may be badly indebted for years in Japan. He is so fascinated with his current life and I'm glad with him that he can find what he wants to do without any major issue. He is expected to graduate by March 2013. I hope we can meet at that time because I had not been seeing him for 4 years.

It is a friendship that's full of trust. No suspicion between us. There is only faith embedded within ourselves. We can chat without any worries or hesitation. In short, this is what I wish, 'all out'. In my opinion, a friendship is fake or meaningless without plying your sincerity to your friends. It's very torturing when you have to be preventive to your friends.

Luckily majority of my friends are trustworthy. I love you, my friends. Let's continue building the friendship which we wish and adhere to our principles of life.
