Anniversary 3

Yesterday was the first anniversary for my first confession. Yep, I proposed to Princess last year and today is the first anniversary for rejection from Princess. I told this to my grandpa just now and we just smiled to each other. Nowadays, we can treat this as a joke.

I met many pretty girls in KL but throughout this year, Princess is the only one who can impress me the most. She is the only one whom I love so much. I can't find a substitute temporary. She is so great and awesome!

Tell you a secret. When I was in KL, I wished to buy clothes or things to my Princess when I was shopping in shopping malls and pasar malam. I was willing to buy her dresses, shirts and things even though the prices were high! However, I was reluctant to buy me a shirt which just cost me RM40. Haha, why I want to treat myself so unfairly?

Therefore, I am grateful for not having a girlfriend as I can save a lot of money, which is so-called "investment".

KL Trip

I just back from Kuala Lumpur last night. Initially, we decided to find a room and observed its surrounding in Setapak so that we can pursue our study there in May without any worry. However, things were not going accordingly.

I felt something wrong once I was at Sungai Nibong's bus station because I just knew that there were 10 people all together joint this trip. Why? It was just 10 persons, we still can go as planned. Nonetheless, we were fully strange in KL. We didn't know the roads. Therefore, it would be more troublesome if we took bus to our destinations. Thus, we decided to take taxi but problem arose here. 10 people, how to share the taxi's fare? The taxi just can fit for 4 persons per car. Oh my God! Luckily, I have a cousin there. As a marketing executive, he doesn't need to stay at office for long hour. In the other words, he just needs to finish his paper work in office, then he is free to go anywhere he wants, provided that he can maintain the sales.

What made me upset was they even didn't know the location of hotel. Yes, they did do a great job in searching for hotel and finding all the comments to the hotel. Well done but the most important thing they failed to do it. My cousin fetched me and Anthony to the Cube hotel and the rest of them took taxi and they were "slaughtered", the taxi driver charged them RM30 even though the hotel is just near Puduraya, about 20 minutes journey by walking. So, I think, this was the first lesson they learned.

After that, we went for lunch then we started to go Wangsa Maju to find rooms. This time, L.W.H., K.S.C. and Dominic followed us. We reached there in a couple of minutes while the rest were still waiting for Putra LRT. Hence, we went around, looking for its surrounding, taking the notice pasted on the wall so that we could get the agent's phone number.

Finally, they came. They just went to find rooms which particularly was a condominium unit! For your information, a unit of condominium without furnished costs us at least RM1300 per month excluding utilities fees. If it is shared by 7 to 9 persons, it still costs us over RM200 per month. Undoubtedly, the environment is really adorable but it is costly for a student. Unless we don't want to rent the whole unit but just rent the room, then it will be cheaper and it costs about RM350 each, shared by two persons, including all the utilities fees. However, we need to stay with stranger. This is strongly opposed by them.

A cheaper unit but it was not a condominium also rejected by them, they even reluctant to go to have a look. The reasons they gave were the safety is not guaranteed, it is lousy, it is far from college... Yes, maybe you were right but the condominium which you found also far from college and there is not 100% thing in this world, you can't guarantee anything. My cousin asked me to rent a room nearby will do because it depends on our luck for the rob incidence. He said I can mix with new friends at college and then stay with them if probable but I don't want to leave my friends. Actually, I can leave the group but I need a companion.

After that, we were separated into two groups. One group was headed by Ghandi, they went to meet K.L.X. at KLCC, the other group were 5 people, otherwise they could get into my cousin's car. Thereupon, I was the only one who followed my cousin. We went to Melati where my other cousin stays. I was not complacent with that area as it is too far from our college unless you have a transport and there are a lot of Malays. Then, we went to eat Pan Mee but it was raining, so I didn't have the opportunity to try the Pan Mee. I was informed that the Pan Mee is operated by my cousin's god mother and he invested in it too.

Then we went back to his newly bought house. This was also my first time been there. Since my uncle's house is just opposite my cousin's house, so we went there and my uncle set up a laptop for me. I played poker in front of him and I followed his instructions and it ended up with I won 2 thousands chips in just a couple minutes. Then we went to fetch my cousin's girlfriend. After that, he fetched me back to my hotel. I was shocked that they were playing cards with chips. So, this was my first day's journey.

The second day, they didn't want to find rooms already and it was not according to our plan. That means, I could go back on that day but the bus tickets were booked and the hotel was paid for two days already, so I had no choice but to stay. Since they played cards until late midnight, so they woke up lately. We took our brunch at Sungei Wang then we separated into two groups again. This time, my group went to KLCC but before that, we hanged around at Times Square. Then we took monorail to KL Central where the main station is there and my cousin's wife is working. Then we headed to KLCC. My cousin asked us to wait for new Putra LRT because he has never taken that new train since its commencement. We almost waited for 5 trains and at last, we gave up. Luckily, we managed to get into new train on our journey back to KL Central. Awesome, it was so cold and bright!

Then we took KTM to MidValley. Then, we went back separately after reaching KL Central. I followed my cousin to eat 猪肠粉. The 猪肠粉 in KL is slightly different as compared with Penang one. It has no 虾膏 but we need to pick food, like hotdog, fish balls and so on. After the main meal, we were poured with soup. The soup was not as nice as in Penang one. Then we went to eat Pan Mee. Haha, this time I managed to eat it. It was not bad, good recommendation.

Later, we went to pasar malam. Before that, we bought dried chicken meat(肉干) as ordered by my family. I bought a pair of shoes which cost me RM50, it was cheap as compared to Penang one, same model and branded. My cousin told me that KL people emphasize on brand but not the design while I am the opposite one. I saw a jacket but the size didn't fit me. Haiz, it was a pity. Then, we went back to his house. This time, my uncle, my cousin and my auntie were not home since they went to pasar malam as well. Then, as usual, we fetched his girlfriend then went back to my hotel. This night, they really gambled! They gambled with money! So, this was my second day's trip.

Third day, the last day in KL. We woke up lately, so we just took a simple breakfast in hotel. The other group bought Anthony a cup of coffee. At first, Anthony rejected but he finally accepted it when they said it was free. I didn't think so as there is no free meal in this world, I thought it could be a consideration for acting as dealer last night, haha... Suddenly, Anthony split the coffee to my jeans, caps and my bag! Alamak! Luckily, it was split to the lower part of my jeans otherwise, others would think that I wee-weed on my jeans, haha... We shopped at Sungei Wang and I bought two shirts there. Next, we took our lunch at Low Yat Plaza. Then we went to 7-eleven to buy some breads and went back to hotel to take our luggage. The other group was waiting for us there.

Then we gathered at Puduraya bus station. My cousin met me there and brought me two tins of Kuih Kapit. One is for my family and the other one is for my grandpa. He said they probably wouldn't come to Penang in this coming Chinese New Year but they most probably will come during Cheng Beng. Oh, grandpa will miss you so much!

From this KL trip, I am able to see some of the true faces. I learned that people is realistic. I also learned that it is extremely difficult to tolerate with others or to reach agreement or to compromise when the group is big. I learned that everything should be well-planned if we intend to do the thing effectively and efficiently. Don't ever try to mix yourself with those who are not having the same mind as yours as this will make you suffer. They don't deserve for my help. I noticed that my cousin has changed a lot. Last time, he is talkative, likes to 酸 me, teased me and so on but nowadays, he is matured! This is a great thing! I have changed my mind on two of my friends from negative to positive. This is also a good thing. As a conclusion, even though the trip is tiring and wasting time and energy, I learned new lessons.

A big thanks to my cousin for acting as my driver and tour leader.^^ I strongly believed that my life would be more torturing without you. Thanks so much! He told me a secret that he will get married on 4-3-2012. He purposely chooses this date due to its sequence--1234.
