Taman Sukun 5

Yo, I went to Taman Sukun to visit my Mama this morning. As usual, I went there via Penang Bridge. However, I took some photos at Penang Bridge before I proceeded.

These photos were taken on 29 January 2011, which was this morning. Why I wanted to take these photos? This is because I want to see how much will it change after some time. As you can see in these photos, there are two islands at the middle of the sea, what will happen to them in the future? Will the beach is still there on the second island? For your information, global warming phenomena is getting worse nowadays and the sea level is gradually increasing, I'm worried that we can't see these two islands in the future. Thereupon, I took this opportunity to take these photos as memory. Furthermore, you may see another Penang Bridge standing on the sea within two years. So, let's look forward to it.

Then, I headed to Taman Sukun. As usual, Mama was very happy when she saw me. We chatted a lot. She told me that she was just discharged from hospital few days ago. This was due to her terrible health. She fainted and 喘 last Thursday, which was Thaipusam and she was warded until this Sunday. Anybody who knows the correct English word for 喘, please don't hesitate to leave me a comment as I can't find this word in my dictionary, I even don't know the word in Malays.

Mama treated me 'siago' in Hokkien. If I'm not mistaken, it's called 'sagu' in Malays. After that, she asked her son to bring me have my lunch outside but I refused. Her son then bought us KFC. Actually, I was not happy with this. This is because my Mama has already terribly sick, so she should not eat any fast food. Actually, they didn't need to treat me lunch as I would be having my lunch at my home, if they really wanted to treat me, an economic rice will be my preference. They didn't need to spend extra for me. What I want is a healthy meal for my Mama.

After my KFC lunch, I said goodbye to my Mama. Then I headed to Carrefour. I followed the route shown by Google Map. However, I couldn't reach there and at last I almost reached Sungai Petani's tolll. Luckily I turned back at the junction before the toll. Fortunately, I managed to reach Carrefour, Prai then. The settings and decorations inside Carrefour, Prai are as same as those in Carrefour, Wangsa Maju. The only difference is there is no plastic bag provided under the Penang State Government policy to promote an environmental friendly environment.

Before I paid the toll fee at Penang Bridge, it started to rain. I stopped my motorcycle at the shielded corridor at Penang Bridge, just before the toll. I stopped for about 15 minutes, then I continued my journey. Unfortunately, it started to rain again just after I paid for the toll fee. I stopped my motorcycle by the side of the bridge and took out my raincoat. Nonetheless, it stopped after 3 minutes. The God was really fooling me! It's okay, I went to Jelutong in order to buy two mee goreng which my friend, L.C.T. introduced to me. Thereafter, I went to fix my motorcycle, I changed the engine oil and meter thread and these cost me RM31.

Mama, please take good care of yourself, I will try my best to graduate and earn as lot money as possible as soon as possible. I want to give you all a peaceful and wealthy life. Trust me, I can do it.
