SG Farlim Business Proposal Day

Today is SG Farlim Business Proposal Day. I reached Great Eastern Branch at 8:30 a.m.. I completed the business proposal form yesterday morning. Initially I was slump or down but after finishing the income projection form, I began very motivated or 'ohm'!

We were divided into a small group and shared our goals and aims.  My aim is to get RM100k ANP this year and hence I would be promoted into Agent 2 this year. Furthermore, I would like to qualify for M6 at least once.

For your information, I become so motivated since I can project my income which is more than the salary of Senior Associate 2 (SA2) of BDO Penang. Hence, once again, it proves that I had made the right decision to leave BDO.

What was so sweet or warm today was the last session, which was writing a so-called 'love letter', a comment or encouragement indeed to those you care. Initially I received nothing but at last, I got quite a number of encouragement from my colleagues. Yes, I'm not a lay man, hence I'll do something special this year. As I said previously, this year is a very important year to me because it symbolises a promotion year to me.

Don't worry buddies, I'll fight for the glory! The first challenge is to get myself qualified for Phuket's trip. Let's see.

After that, we had our dinner at OceanGreen restaurant. Even though it's located opposite BDO Penang but I had never been there before seriously! The view was good. I went to the beach with my IO and Alfred and I decided that I must hit my target this year and I would like to have an Audi in a few years time.

Emotional Control

I just back to Penang from Taiping. I went there because Super Group organised a motivational seminar for SG Northern Region. My IO fetched me together with L.S.L. and T.E.K.. As usual, we were chatting all the way there.

We talked about our brain system. One of the parts that we touched was emotional control. Actually, can we really control our emotion? I believe the people whose job scope needs them to deal with people definitely will face obstacles. It's pretty normal that they do exist in the process but how we deal with them is the key to success.

I searched through Google just now for emotional control's topic. Frankly speaking, I didn't look for all the websites provided nor read the articles in detail. However, the answers were not what my IO told us. Some of the websites did mention about 7 habits which Mr Micheal Yeo from TARc emphasised so much. Nonetheless, from I heard, there's the 8th habit in the newer version of the book.

For your information, we're analysing how our brain works. Hence, we need to understand our brain in order to control our emotion. Eventually, there was a conclusion as to which is more important or plays a crucial role in our daily activities.

We truly need to control our emotion, otherwise it'll certainly ruin our plan. I met a lot of people since I started my career. My emotion was disturbed many times. To be honest, I couldn't control my emotion sometimes. I did what I was not supposed to do, that was to use my emotion to fight or counter the prospect's emotion. Ergo, I believe you can foresee what is the consequence.

Never mind, I know how to control my emotion now and I surely will improve myself from now onwards.
