A Black Week

I'm having a black week! I'm damn bad luck!

As you may know, I was speaking vulgar on Facebook last Saturday and many of my friends was so curious about it. First of all, thanks for your concerns. Since all of you are so curious about it, let me disclose the issue now.

Last Saturday, my junior who was also my neighbour came to K.L. to find a house. She came here with her friends, who were also her potential house mates. Since her mother asked me for help, therefore I accompanied her throughout the whole process to provide some advice.

Their first destination was MetroView. Hence, I parked my motorcycle at the Wangsa Maju L.R.T. station as it was raining that time. Unfortunately, she couldn't fetch me along. One of her friends' uncle offered to fetch them, hence the car was full. I went around to search for some notices first. Within half an hour, when I went to take my motorcycle, I noticed that my helmet was gone missing! Someone must have stolen it and this was my second time parked over there.

I was nervous and didn't know what to do. My intuition told me that I should find a replacement as helmet was a complementary product with motorcycle, without helmet, how could I ride my motorcycle? I planned to steal others' ones as there were so many similar helmet as mine. Nonetheless, I didn't do so. My conscience prohibited me to do so. It told me that if I stole the helmet, the owner must have the same difficulty and anxiety as mine. I shouldn't pass my worry to others. This was really irresponsible and selfish!

Thereupon, I started to walk around looking for a motorcycle shop. I found one, a Kawasaki motorcycle if I was not mistaken but the helmets there were so stylish and highly priced which I couldn't afford to have one. Imagine, more than RM200 for a helmet! I started to feel helpless. I didn't tell her about this and I planned to find one from Jusco which was nearby after that.

Luckily their agent was so kind that he agreed to fetch me to Genting Klang. He was a Penang guy. I straight away bought one helmet at the motorcycle reparation shop, which cost me RM55. The helmet is same brand and model as my previous one, just one thing is different, the lock is made of plastic instead of stainless steel! Then I went to meet L.L.J. and T.K.X.. What a coincidence, Lucas was there thereafter.

Alright, this is part of the whole story and I don't intend to continue further here. Today, I went to college earlier as I wanted to asked some questions during Mr Chin's consultation hour. However, he was not there. It took me around 10 minutes to wait for his arrival. He told me that he was not feeling well these few days. Thus, I was not dare to interrupt him further. I reserved some questions to ask him next time.

Before I went back, I went to S.O.T. office to meet the Head of School of Mechanical Engineering in order to help my previous boss to establish a relationship with TARc. I went there after my lunch but he was not there. This time, he was not there as well but someone was inside his office. I passed the name card to him and he promised to help me. He was so happy to know that S.O.T. students would be having a chance of getting training during their internship or after their graduation. On my way back, I noticed that my back tyre was punctured! It was okay, I had to replace a new one. I rode to Genting Klang where I bought my helmet again as I found the young boss was very honest! It cost me RM16 again!

Haiz, what a black week! I had over-budgeted this month. Looks like I have to eat less in order to cover my expenses, haha... Hopefully the bad luck is coming to its end! I believe that a new luck or good luck is coming towards me in the future. In Chinese, we called it “否极泰来”! Maybe it will come to me during the final examinations, lolz...
