But I did it at the second attempt. Both of my eye sights were 200 degree by checking through the optometry machine, same like what I checked in Kampar when my youngest sister did some contact lens there.
Nonetheless, my short-sightedness was just 75 degree for both eyes by manual checking. Wow, there was improvement! If I'm not mistaken, my left eye was 75 degree while right eye was 125 degree. Well done.
According to Eu Gene, there is no medicine yet for light receptor, that's why my eyes still like wearing a sun-glass. There is improvement, last time when I first noticed (when I have memory) was about 80% dark but now it's about 20% only.
He said the contact lens that my sister bought got limited lifespan, about 6 months only, that's why there was RM60 discount. I asked him whether my spectacles will have lifespan, he said no.
He said he would give me a CLHS price. My frame + lens was RM138 but I want lens that can filter blue rays from mobile phone, laptop or television. He said it would cost me another RM100. Well, so I spent RM238 for my first ever spectacles. The so-called CLHS price is RM50 discount.
These are my spectacles. I purposely choose a frame without a pair of white rubbers because normally people's nose will get scar. Eu Gene said there is dark purple at the side, so this frame is worthwhile and it's plastic frame is thick, therefore it is stronger.
This is my style and the way I wear the glass. Am I looked good?
Eu Gene's optometrist shop just opened on 17 September 2018. The rental of his shop was RM6,000 per month, I was frightened. That means Eu Gene can earn more than RM6,000 a month. So hopefully he can secure his insurance or saving plans with me. Let me earn a bit.
He is sharing his shop with hid dad. His dad sets up his office at the back of his shop and doing other businesses.
I get my spectacles today, two days after I check for my eye sight in his shop.
The main reason I buy this glass is because I want to wear it to Si Jie's wedding in the mid of October 2019. Her wedding is in Ipoh and I'm worried Tracelyn can't fetch me, so I have to drive. There is no road lamps along the high way. Wearing this glass at least can give my parents some confidence.
It's not nice when I watch television wearing this glass but it's okay when looking at cell phone or laptop. Eu Gene said it's normal since this is just my first time wearing this glass. So just hope for the best.
